Why Armenia and Azerbaijan Consider Russia a Threat - Details.

Azerbaijani journalist Ilham Ismailov explained why Armenia and Azerbaijan consider Russia a threat. He noted that the Russian Federation is a 'common source of danger'. Ilham Ismailov stated this during the Day.LIVE broadcast on Monday, July 14.
The journalist explained that the recent meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Abu Dhabi without intermediaries was a blow to the Kremlin's influence in the region. He emphasized that Russia is trying to use trade levers, such as bans on the export of Azerbaijani agricultural products, to maintain its control. Ismailov also mentioned the pressure on Azerbaijani migrants in Russia. 'Now, after the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia met in Abu Dhabi without intermediaries, it was a blow to Russian interests. Now both Armenia and Azerbaijan know that there is a common source of danger - that is Russia. Therefore, when Russia sees such a situation where two states are solving their long-standing problems without the Kremlin's mediator, it starts trying to influence Azerbaijan through agricultural products,' the journalist explained.
We remind you that recently the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev refused to meet with Putin's envoy and sent him home empty-handed. Earlier, we informed why exactly now Azerbaijan has gone for open conflict with Russia.
The discussion between Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia continues, and the possible consequences of this confrontation may have a significant impact on the geopolitical situation in the region. The leaders of the countries will have to seek compromise solutions to prevent further tensions and conflicts.Read also
