What has Russia armed the DPRK troops deployed to the Ukrainian border with? Details from the GUR.

According to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in the last week of October 2024, Russia transferred more than 7,000 soldiers from the DPRK army to areas near Ukraine. These troops were armed with 60 mm mortars, AK-12 rifles, and machine guns.
The DPRK troops were relocated through the Russian Federation using military transport aircraft. Moscow's directive concerned not only armaments but also night vision devices, thermal imagers, and binoculars. The training of DPRK troops took place at five ranges in the Russian Far East.
Recall that the United States reported the transfer of about 8,000 military personnel from the DPRK to the Kursk region. The President of Ukraine stated in an interview with a South Korean TV channel that Russia involved North Korean military personnel in the war with Ukraine to avoid mobilization in Russia. The number of North Korean military personnel in training camps in Russia amounts to 3,000 and will increase to 12,000.
It is also worth noting that the UN Security Council held a meeting to discuss the deployment of North Korean troops on the front of the Ukrainian conflict. NATO also confirmed the involvement of North Korean troops by Russia in this conflict.
