Fighting Against the Occupants in Donetsk and Luhansk. Remembering Ihor Voznyi.

Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Ihor Voznyi.

Ihor Voznyi was a warrior of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He died on the front line on January 7, 2023, and his death was reported by the Lviv City Council. His call sign was Tourist.

Ihor Voznyi was born on December 31, 1981, in the village of Cherche, Ivano-Frankivsk region. He graduated from the Cherchen Special School of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council in 1999 and later entered the Private Higher Educational Institution 'International Economic and Humanitarian University named after Academician Stepan Demyanchuk.'

After completing his studies, Ihor served in the army in Lviv, as part of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After that, he worked as a sales manager.

Ihor Voznyi's relatives remember him as a loving father, son, and caring husband. He always placed family first. Ihor was a good host, a loyal friend, responsible, honest, brave, and just. He always faithfully fulfilled all his promises. In his free Time, he loved to fish, the Lviv City Council reported.

After the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation began, Ihor returned to his brigade - the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade. He bravely fought against the Russian occupiers in Donetsk and Luhansk.

Ihor Voznyi left behind parents, a wife, a son, and two brothers with their families.

The funeral of Ihor Voznyi took place on January 28 at the Garrison Church of Saints Apostles Peter and Paul, and he was buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery.

Our supreme command also observed a minute of silence. We remember all Ukrainians who died in the war for our homeland. We remember those who died at the hands of Russian occupiers and light candles of remembrance. We bow our heads in grief during the nationwide minute of silence, honoring the bright memory of Ukrainian citizens who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our state. We remember all the military, civilians, and children who died fighting against the Russian occupiers and due to the attack of hostile troops on Ukrainian cities and villages.
