Defended Ukraine even before the full-scale invasion. Let's remember Andriy Hryshkevych.


Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today, let's remember Andriy Hryshkevych.
The life of soldier Andriy Hryshkevych was cut short on June 10, 2024, in the Pokrovsk direction of the Donetsk region. This was reported by the Rivne City Council.
Andriy Hryshkevych was born on October 13, 1996. He studied at the Kvasyliv Secondary School, later graduated from the Transport College with a major in 'International Transport by Road'. He continued his education at the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources Use, where he received a higher education. After finishing his studies, he worked as a customs control broker.
Since childhood, he was passionate about sports - he practiced boxing and had over 40 parachute jumps. He loved music, wrote songs, and played the guitar. He led an active and healthy lifestyle, organizing trips and vacations for his friends. He was a fair, kind, sincere, and responsible son and friend,' says his mother Svitlana.
In May 2020, he signed a contract for military service. When the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation began, Andriy continued his service and took up the defense of his homeland.
27-year-old soldier Andriy Hryshkevych was killed on June 10, 2024, in the Pokrovsk direction of the Donetsk region.
The farewell to the hero took place on March 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Independence Square in Rivne. The soldier was buried at the Alley of Heroes of the 'Tynne' cemetery.
The hero is survived by his parents and brother.
