A mobilized citizen of Ukraine can become an officer, but for this, certain requirements must be met. In particular, having higher education and undergoing military training, as lawyer Vladislav Derii explained.
Education for obtaining an officer rank
Derii noted that to obtain an officer rank, it is necessary to have higher education and undergo military training:
'Only citizens of Ukraine who have an educational degree of higher education, at least a bachelor's degree, can obtain an officer rank', the lawyer explained.
Other conditions
In addition to education, there are other conditions for obtaining an officer rank:
- complete military training under a special program;
- pass examinations;
- be certified for officer personnel.
After fulfilling all the requirements, the citizen is granted the corresponding military rank of reserve officer.
